Overview

Neurodiversity is a very broad term encompassing many different conditions. It may or may not be a disability, depending on the individual's experience.

Examples of neurodiversity include:

  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyscalculia
  • Dysgraphia
  • Tourette Syndrome

UK web accessibility legislation includes provision for forms of neurodiversity which affect the way that online information is perceived, understood or operated.
