Information, Advice and Guidance sessions - Year 12-13 (KS5)

Presentations and workshops designed to ensure that your students are aware of the variety of options available to them and are equipped with the knowledge required to make the next steps. Exeter Scholars National Residential - Year 12 (KS5)

Penryn residential (Cornwall): Tuesday 7th July - Friday 10th July 2026
Exeter residential (Devon): Monday 27th July - Thursday 30th July 2026

Participants outside of the South West of England join our National pathway, which is completed through a four day in-person residential experience. On the four-day campus residential, students will get both the chance to stay in university halls and explore the area around the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥, and the opportunity to explore academic subjects in more detail. Subject strands take place at either the Streatham campus in Exeter, Devon or the Penryn campus in Penryn, Cornwall. Find out more here.

KS5 Explore University Days – Streatham Campus - Year 12-13 (KS5)

Join us for a campus visit, giving your students the chance to discover what living and studying at a university is like. This day is the perfect opportunity for students who are seriously considering Higher Education and Exeter as one of their options. These visits are limited to groups of 50 engaged students. Meet current students and hear first-hand about their experiences; find out about the opportunities available to students at university level study; and explore how students can choose the right pathway for them. KS5 Curriculum Enrichment Days - Year 12-13 (KS5)

NEW for this academic year, our curriculum enrichment days are led by our academic staff and provide an engaging insight into the curriculum and university-level study. Inspire your students with the opportunity to explore specific subject areas in greater depth; and expand their understanding of higher education with a day focused on university-level teaching. Discover University Webinars

Online webinars for students in Year 12 (or equivalent) on Monday evenings from October 2025 throughout the year. We will be joined by student ambassadors who will give you an unrivalled insight into life at university. There is no criteria for attending these webinars. Signup information can be found here

Academic Competitions

Throughout the year we run academic competitions in various subjects including Economics, Ecology, and Law. They are open to students studying A Levels, IB, BTEC and GCSEs with no other criteria required. The best entry for each competition will receive £100 in vouchers. Find out more here.

Discover University: Student Experience Panels - Year 10-13 (KS4-5)

Dates: Various dates between March-May 2026
Time: 18:00-19:00

Hear from current students at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ about life and study from their perspective, and get your questions answered by someone who can speak from first-hand experience. 

No two university experiences are the same, so our themed online conversation panels bring together current students with common identities or lived experiences to provide personalised insight and advice. Each twilight session will include a student panel, a Q&A, and signposting to further support. We will be holding the following sessions: 

  • 12th March - Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ing with a disability or long-term health condition at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ 
  • 26th March - How affordable is being a student at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥? 
  • 9th April - Making Friends and Creating Support Networks at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ 
  • 23rd April - Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ing as a neurodiverse student at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ 
  • 7th May - Balancing Coursework and Life: Looking After your Mental Health while Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ing at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ 
  • 21st May - Belonging at the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥: Let's Talk Culture, Religion, and Identity
